Production preparation and process of injection molded parts for small electrical appliances
1、 Preparation work before production
Product Design
3D drawings, structural optimization (wall thickness, draft angle, etc.).
Determine the materials (such as ABS, PC, nylon, etc.) and performance requirements (temperature resistance, flame retardancy, etc.).
Mold manufacturing
CNC machining, mold cavity polishing.
Trial mold verification, adjust injection parameters (pressure, temperature, cycle).
material processing
Drying of plastic pellets (to avoid bubbles), color matching (if necessary).
2、 Production process
Injection molding
The material barrel is heated (180~300 ℃), and the molten plastic is high-pressure injected into the mold.
Pressure holding cooling (5-30 seconds), ejector pin demolding.
Post processing
Remove sprues and burrs (manual or automated trimming).
Secondary processing (spraying, electroplating, laser marking, etc.).
quality detection
Dimensional measurement (caliper/CMM), functional testing (waterproof, insulation).
3、 Advantages and Characteristics
High precision - one-time molding of complex structures, suitable for micro and small electrical appliances.
Lightweight - Compared to metal, it reduces weight by more than 50% and saves energy consumption.
Insulation corrosion resistance - anti leakage, anti chemical corrosion, enhance safety.
Batch production with high yield - complete single piece production within 30 seconds, reducing costs.
